| L.A.M.E. Encoder |
If you export your final Audacity project as an mp3, you will be asked to locate the lame_enc.dll file. Download this file and place it in your Audacity folder. Simply point to this file when Audacity asks for it. You will only have to point to the file once. |
| Jodix WMA to MP3 Converter |
This free software allows users to convert a Windows Media Audio file (file format often utilized when ripping CD's) to a MP3. Audacity can not import WMA files. It will import MP3's and WAV files. This ONLY CONVERTS AUDIO FILES. |
| Jodix WMV to MP4 |
I don't really understand Mac (although I have calculated how much time he's just wasted ;-> ) but I believe Windows Movie files (.WMV) will speak Mac. However, Mac likes MP4 much better...poor fellow. This free program will convert your Windows Movie file to an MP4, which I believe is required for iTunes. |

This program does a variety of conversions (QuckTime to Windows Movie File, MPG to Quicktime, etc.) I got it when it was free. There's a free trial period, but it looks like that want $29 now. |

The ETC Portal hosts their Podcasting resources on a Moodle page. The have samples, instructions, etc. Accessing this space requires an ETC Portal account. |

Moodle is a great option for posting videos and/or Podcasts. The link to the left provides printable and video tutorials on how to use Moodle. |
| Filezilla |
Moodle has an 8 MB limit for files being uploaded. However, they will gladly place larger into your Moodle course if you use Filezilla to transfer them. Contact Eric Jarvis a ejarvis "at" slcusd "dot" org for instructions and the password for uploading large files. |
